Hey everyone! This is a post that isn't just aimed towards newer players, but to everybody. I'm including a lot of information in this, and it is basically my guide to trading in general. It's a compilation of my past 2 years of trading combined with everything I've learned from other people, and I hope that it helps you all. I will be adding more on to this guide, but this has already taken me 4 hours to type, so I will be gradually adding on. If you have anything to contribute or suggest to me, then please feel free! 7.0 Trading FAQs Without further stalling, let's get started! 1.0 - Trading Basics In late 2011, before CS:GO was even released, Valve introduced the ability to trade TF2 items in Steam. It was a phenomenon that nobody thought would become as big as it was, and it has only expanded over the last 5 years. With the Arms Deal update in CS:GO on the 14th of August, 2013, we were introduced to what would eventually become one of the largest and most sustained economies in gaming. A trade is when two steam users interact by moving items from accounts, and the safety and level of it has evolved since its release. Trades can be live, or they can be offers. An offer is when a user sends a non-live trade to another player, who can then spend time to think about it, and either decline or accept the offer. 1.1 - Getting Started Against what all of the nothing to knife videos would lead you to believe, trading is not something where you can get to a FN Dragon Lore from a Nova Sand mesh... well not within 2 weeks (Unless you are very fucking lucky.) The best way to start out trading is to invest $50+ and start from there. The more you invest, the easier it is to make profit, but there are more risks associated with some higher tier items. The least amount of money you should spend when getting into the game is $10, $5 is fine too, but honestly, it is worth spending the amount of money that you might spend on lunch to buy some skins that will last longer then said lunch. In order to get started with trading, you will need the following:
1. A Steam Account (And the Desktop Client, obviously)
2. Some Items
3. A Smartphone
4. The Steam Mobile App
5. Common Sense (This one is extremely important)
The rest is explained throughout this guide. 1.2 - Who to Trust Deciding on who to trust is simultaneously extremely easy and incredibly difficult. When you're doing a normal trade, there is next to nothing that the other person can do to scam you. Basically, as long as they or you send a trade offer with both items in the trade, you're golden. Never trade with people who do the following:
Ask for a middleman for an item to item trade. If they ask because you have two of the same item and want to make sure it isn't glitched, don't listen to them.
Accounts that claim to be CSGOLounge bots that need 'verification' or else your account will be banned. They're just bullshitting you.
People who will say that they will get you items later (i.e. offering 75 keys for an 80 key item, and they will give you their extra 5 tradable keys later.
People who offer you real cash for your items, especially if you didn't ask for cash. If you're asking for cash, then check their cashreps and do your research, this is explained in the next subchapter.
1.3 - Cashrep So what is cashrep? Cashrep is a Reputation thread that a user uses when they are doing trades for real money. If you're looking to start trading with real money yourself, the best thing to do is to small money trades with extremely reputable traders who have extensive cashrep, to start building your own. So what is steamrep? Steamrep (http://steamrep.com/) is a community run website that is aimed stopping scammers in their tracks. Always check a user's account before trading with them, regardless of whether they are doing a cash trade with you or not. This is important, because some people will go to extensive lengths just to get a bit of extra cash from you. I am also aware that everyone does not believe steamrep is necessary, but believe me when I say that it is actually a very useful tool that has saved me plenty of time with figuring out people who have tried to scam me out of real money. 1.4 - The Most Common Scams
The Middleman Scam: This is probably the most common scam. It is where the Scammer will tell the victim that they want to use a victim's friend as a middleman to trade the item to to make sure it isn't duped. They will then use one of their friends to impersonate your friend, and add you to a group chat with the fake friend, and then steal your item. Just simply don't trade with these people.
The Swap: Another very common scam where the person will have two of the same item, but with different stickers/conditions/patterns, and they will swap out the item you want with the shittier version. This one can be tricky, if the person has two or more of the item you want, get them to send a trade offer, and inspect the skin in the offer before accepting.
The Fake Bot: If you're livestreaming & gambling (or even not streaming sometimes), or you post a trade on lounge, always check the verification codes and the bot's pages to make sure that they are indeed the bot you think they are. This is pretty easy to avoid, as Lounge bots will never need to verify your account.
1.5 - Trading Etiquette Here is a list of the things that you should and shouldn't do just as general rules of thumb.
Don't be an asshole. You'll get more respect, better offers, and you'll probably make friends just by simply being more polite with people. Even when getting frustrated, attempt to keep your head screwed on and be polite.
Always check your item's prices before listing them. If you've had an item for a while, it may have gone up/down, and it's easier on everybody if you just doublecheck the price of your item so that people don't yell at you. Also, don't just overprice your items at all, unless they actually have the value for it.
Respect people of higher authority. Well-respected traders are well-respected for a reason, if you're talking with someone high up on the trading ladder, be sure to treat them well.
Don't beg for items. Pretty straightforward.
Don't argue with people's prices on items unless you are extremely experienced with them. If you legitimately believe someone is asking too much for an item (i.e. a case hardened), get someone who is experienced to take a look at it.
When you mention float values, don't only type the first digit after the 0 (i.e. Karambit Crimson Web 0.1 Float). This can be misleading, as items such as dragon lores vary extremely from 0.29 to 0.20 floats.
1.6 - Trade Confirmations: What Are They? Trade confirmations are done via a mobile device. They are pretty much forced upon players to make them do their best to keep their accounts secure. All that you need to do when trading is open your phone, click on the notification that the app gives you, and doublecheck and confirm the trade. 2.0 - Patterns: What Are They And Why are They Important? A pattern is an ID from 1-999 that is assigned to any item in one's inventory. Randomly generated skins (such as Electric Hive, Crimson Web, Case Hardened, Modern Hunter, Fade, etc.) will appear unique in every pattern. Don't be mistaken though, patterns do affect static skins (such as Dragon Lore, Fire Serpent, Howl, etc.) in a significant way as well. Each pattern also changed wear placement on the gun slightly (i.e. two different skins with the exact same float but different pattern IDs can have completely different scratches.) It is also noteworthy that every single skin on a given gun with a certain pattern ID will have the exact same wear placement, regardless of what skin it is. This is important. Note that on ALL of the DLC Knives (Butterfly, Huntsman, Falchion, Shadow Daggers, and the Bowie Knife), the patterns are mirrored. This means that any 'double sided xx' on these knives are lying, or just uninformed. 2.1 - Slaughter Patterns Slaughter has a wide variety of unique looks, but not all patterns that people claim are patterns are accepted by the community. The most commonly used patterns are listed here:
If a crimson web knife has a float of 0.23 or higher, then the Webs shouldn't add any value. The exception is karambits, where it may add a few keys.
On Factory New Crimson Webs (Knives only), a good webbing can increase the price by as much as 600 keys. The best example of this is again the Karambit, or the M9, as the M9s with 3 webs will usually sell for 500+ keys more then ones with no webs to one web.
Here is an album of 3 different factory new m9 crimson webs, each with different webs to illustrate my point. 2.3 - Fade Patterns Fade value varies from knife to knife. On the gut knife it is actually unaffected 95% of the time (110% 0.00x usually goes for 105% of market, but nothing else usually sells for much more.) Flip knives are actually sold equivalent to their fade percentage of SA Price (i.e. 90% fade for 90% of steamanalyst, and same for 110%). Meanwhile Karambits go as low as 190 and as high as 700. I will have to update the guide with more prices soon. Tip: You can use CSGOZone to check the fade percentages of most knives pretty acurately, but it isn't 100% accurate, so doublecheck with people to confirm the fade. If someone can link me a good Glock-18 Fade guide, it would help. I'm surprised that it is so difficult to find a proper guide.
2.4 - Marble Fade Patterns Marble fades are one of the most desirable knife finishes in the game, being quite popular in general. Against what some of the shittily made guides out there will have you to believe, you can only get True Fire & Ice with no yellow on the Karambit, Flip Knife, Gut Knife, and Bayonet. This means that you cannot get Fire and Ice on the M9 Bayonet. On The M9 Bayonet, the most desirable pattern is the Max Red tip, the least desirable is yellow, and the middle child is blue tips.
2.5 Electric Hive Patterns Electric hives are a skin with a wide pattern range, but many traders either ignore them or are even unaware of the pattern value ranges. I'm an Electric Hive enthusiast myself, and I'm speaking out of my own experience for this part. Similar to Case Hardeneds, Electric hives desirability peaks at Full Blue, followed by Full Orange hives. Other hives are generally considered to be nothing special, and sell ar market. The desirability of blue patterns is based NOT on the amount of blue/orange, but the solidity of the line itself. The ideal patterns are shown below, note where the purple line sits.
There is more to go into with these, will add more images when Metjm's buggy screenshots are updated. 2.6 - Kami Patterns Kamis are purely based on whatever the person is willing to pay for them. A Good example is the Vagina Kami, which from what I've heard has sold for more then 20 keys in the past.. Many patterns exist on the back of the 5-7 Kami, but there aren't that many solid guides for them. 2.7 - Case Hardened Patterns Case Hardened is simultaneously one of the most and least desired skin & knife finishes in the game. The prices of these items involve too many factors for me to go over, but the TL;DR version of it is that Blue = Sexy and Rust/Grey = Shit. Here are some examples of blue gems for each case hardened. Credit to acidaus for finding some of the METJMs and Alamer99 for 3 of the bowies:
2.8 - Doppler Doppler is extremely controversial because of some of the terms that certain people use to describe their knives. There are 7 different game files for the doppler, called Phases. The phases are as follows.
People use terms such as "Fake Black Pearl" and "Pink Galaxy" to describe their dopplers. Using terms that do not describe something that it isn't aren't allowed (i.e. a Phase 3 full black is just that, full black. Not a Fake Black Pearl. Phase 1 can arguably be fake black pearl since it has purple, not black.) This is the gray area of dopplers, and is up for debate. 2.9 - Other This section is for skins that some people may argue deserve to have pattern price differences, but in my experience don't matter. Icarus fells for example are very debatable. I've bought and sold almost all of the Phases of icarus fells for 85% of steamanalyst in keys (only float has mattered in my experience), but I know that some people find certain patterns more desirable. With items such as Icarus fells, it is purely the user's preference that matters. Other items that fall under this category are:

3.0 - Float Values: What Are They? A float value (Or Floating Point) is a static numeric string used in programming to set a value for whatever purpose is correct in context. In the case of CS:GO, the float value of an item determines the amount of wear it has (relative to the pattern seed's wear placement.) Basically, higher float skins have worse wears (Battle-Scarred through Field-Tested) and lower float skins have better wears (Field-Tested through Factory New.) The Float ranges for items are as follows:
0.00x - 0.069 = Factory New
0.07 - 0.149 = Minimal Wear
0.15 - 0.379 = Field-Tested
0.38 - 0.449 = Well-Worn
0.45 - 1.00 = Battle-Scarred
3.1 - Float Values and Knives Float ranges vary on every skin in the game. It's noteworthy that on the Karambit, the pattern is just as important as the wear, as you can get 0.04 corners that look better then 0.000x ones. Many knives have a minimum float of 0.06, which makes Factory New extremely rare, since skins have a bell curve on condition (making Field-Tested much more common then Factory New and Very Battle-Scarred)
Stained, Damascus Steel, Case Hardened, Blue Steel: 0.00x - 1.00
Rust Coat: 0.40 - 1.00
Slaughter: 0.01 - 0.259
As you can see, most of the knives with Custom paint finishes all have a 0.06-0.80 float range, making FN equally rare on all of them. Fades are uncommon in minimal wear, but not as rare as a FN Crimson web. Rust coat and slaughter are the only knives that don't follow the trope. 3.2 - Float Values and Skins Skins float ranges are determined by their creators. The only skins that have 0.06 min floats are usually valve-made skins (such as fire serpent, safari mesh, etc.) and most other skins are usually 0.00x - 1.00. Notable exceptions are AWP/M4 Asiimov (0.18 - 1.00) and Galil Chatterbox (0.35 - 1.00.) 4.0 - Key Trading 101 Keys are the universal currency of the Counter-Strike economy. So how exactly do they work? If your item is regularly listed on the steam market (and doesn't have any special stickers/patterns), then the typical way to list it is to use SteamAnalyst's averages, and multiplying them by 0.80-0.90 depending on the item's desirability. 0.8 is 80%, which is usually considered a quicksell. 85%-90% are considered quicksells by some and normal prices by others. Note that no item should sell for 100% of steamanalyst if it has no special traits, unless the person wants the item very fast. 4.1 - High Tier Key Trading For items over 130 keys, the most common thing to do is to look on Reddit (or lounge, depending on your style) and find similarly listed items that actually sold at that price recently. These are the community's agreed prices on these items. If you're using items that are regularly listed on the steam community market to trade for high tier items, then you will need to use the 80-90% averages as explained above. 4.2 - Key Prices When buying keys with real cash, the price for you depends on several factors.
Where you're buying from or who you're buying from.
The method you're using.
The amount you're buying.
Your Reputation/Who You Are
The Price for keys varies depending on these factors. Basically, the more reputable you are, the easier it is to get cheaper keys (Via Bitcoin rates are usually $1.8-$2.0). This completely depends on the above factors though. 5.0 - Souvenir Items 101 Souvenir items are items that were dropped from Souvenir packages, which were dropped from Valve-Sponsored Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors. In the latest two 2015 tournaments, signature stickers were added, and some of these add significant value to guns. These are the stickers that add the most value.
Most other signature stickers don't add significant value. These are just the most noteworthy ones. 6.0 - Stickers on Guns Up until mid 2015, stickers adding value to guns was considered to be a joke by the general trading community. Once the Katowice 2014 stickers skyrocketed, people realized that the look was actually worth paying for, and Kato 14 collectors started to grow. Now, stickers are considered to be an important part of the trading meta if their value is > 10 keys. 6.1 - Calculating Sticker Values Before anything else, check these factors:
The number of related stickers (i.e. 4 katowice 2014 stickers or just 1 katowice 2014)
The placement (If there is only one notable sticker, or the best one is in the worst position)
Are they scratched? (Even if it's just scratched once, the sticker loses all of its value immediately to a collector.)
Unfortunately, the price from stickers varies too greatly based on these factors as well as trivial things such as StatTrak and all of that, so I will not be adding back the general pricing. 7.0 - Trading FAQs Q. What are steam levels and why do they matter?
Steam levels are a level (ofc) that is determined based on the number of badges a user possesses. Each badge is worth 100 XP (with a few exceptions) and they cost money to craft (usually). High steam levels have spent considerable amounts of time & money, and usually don't want to risk their high level account as it is hard to replicate. This does not mean that someone with say a level 300 account isn't scamming, but it is much less likely for someone with a steam level > 200 to scam then someone with say a 50 level. (Though there are scammers and legit dealers at all levels.)
Q. I got scammed, what do I do?
Report it to Steam Support and on the Steamrep Forums & Partner communities. GoTrade itself is a great place to report scammers.
Q. Why are Katowice Stickers and some souvenirs so expensive?
Simply because of the fact that they are from a time when CS was newer and less popular, so there is a small supply of them.
Q. Why do traders pay so much just for a certain float or pattern?
Because of the rarity, uniqueness, and look.
Q. How do I get started on cash trading?
The best way to get started on cash trading is to deal with well known traders in small amounts to build a rep.

I’ve been waiting and hoping to play GTA V ever since it first came out on PC, but I was never able to due to having very outdated parts. Now, I have recently upgraded my PC with an i5 processor, and a GTX 950, so I will be more than able to run this game on good settings. I know it’s an expensive AAA game, but please read my request or even comment on it, maybe you would learn something you didn’t already know about the game. RawrCat123’s GTA V Request GTA V, what is it? GTA V(Grand Theft Auto V) is the latest Grand Theft Auto game by Rockstar. The GTA franchise focuses mainly on criminals trying to live life in the city, with their own problems and conflicts going on in their life. As the player, you role play as the main protagonist. However, in GTAV, there are not 1, not 2, but 3 main protagonists, Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. It is also the first title to introduce “GTA heists” which we will also talk about later. This is not the first title that introduces Online, but it has the best online gameplay, the best ever! It's online gameplay is truly a masterpiece, which we will dive in deep to explain later in the request. And by dive in deep, I mean it, I will detail a lot of it, and you too will understand why I need GTA V. The Story Mode It's story mode revolves around the journeys of the 3 main protagonists, Michael, Trevor, and Franklin in the year 2013 in the vast city of Los Santos, 5 years after the events of GTA IV. The player role plays as each character, unveiling their secrets of their success in the criminal world, and how they are associated with each other. Each character is unique with their own personal background, and perfectly carves in the criminal setting of GTA V. I decided to copy and paste the descriptions for each character from my previous request, because I think I did a very good job of analyzing each character and their history. The Characters Michael:When he was younger, his father abused him, who ended up leaving Michael and his mother. As he grew up, he became the star quarterback of his high school team, but ended up having to quit because of several injuries and ANGER MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS**. He then became a criminal as a young adult, and got jailed 2 times after stealing $10,000 from a small business. He then met Trevor at a cargo station, after Trevor fired a flare gun into an older man’s eye for no reason, and now Michael and Trevor are BFFs, so they started doing crime together. Later on, he met Amanda at a strip club, his future wife, as they started a romantic relationship. He bought her breasteses implants, which lead up to his prostitution business. Amanda became Preggers with Michael’s babies, and became MARRIED! However, his life took a turn in 2004 after an FIB(FBI) agent agreed with him to turn in Trevor for money and protection, AND to fake his(Michael’s) own death in their upcoming bank heist. The plan went well, however, Trevor was furious after all of his buddies got killed, so he massacred a bunch of police men after hiding, never found... Trevor:Ironically born in Canada, his background has always been violentBADUMTSS! . As a young lad, his history has always been rage-filled, and violent, so much that he even knocked out his own Hockey coach with a hockey stick. His father physically abused him, while his mother would emotionally abuse him. His father left him, and he dropped out of school early, which is why he is kinda stupid. However, he had a natural talent for flying jets, so he tried enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Forces to fly fighter jets. But, several days before his training completion, he was deemed as “emotionally unstable”, so he was forced to leave. After that, his departure, he ended up doing many petty crimes, until he met Michael. Which then, they became partners in crime. It all took a turn when a failed bank robbery, THE failed bank robbery in 2004 occurred, which separated Michael and Trevor for 9 years. Over the time, hiding from the police, he developed a new persona and also an addiction to crystal meth. All of these years, they thought eachother were dead... Franklin:It seems all of these guys have daddy issues, huh? Born in south Los Santos, Franklin never knew his dad, but he did know his crack addict mother, which eventually lead to her death when Franklin was young. He moved in with his grandparents, who spoiled him, which is when he decided to be a bit more edgy by selling cigarettes. When his grandparents passed, he moved in with his aunt. He attended school, but later got expelled for assaulting a teacher. He started petty crimes like carjacking with his friend Lamar Davis, who also went to his school. Lamar and Franklin started their first bank robbery and stole $2000, but didn’t get to keep it due to dye packs spilling on them. He eventually got caught and jailed, and when he was released, he decided to live a proper life. Which didn’t really last long. He got called up by a loanshark-like car dealership, who gives cars do people who can’t quite afford it yet. Him and Lamar worked for the dealership, and so began a new beginning… I haven't played the game, but I just know their background because one day I read their bio, because I thought it was very interesting how R* crafts their characters into the world. I wish to play the game, so I can play through each of the characters and find out what happens at the end of the main storyline. But of course, there is no such thing as the end of the game, as long as there is… Multiplayer(GTA Online) GTA V’s story mode itself is super fun, and is hard to stop playing, but Multiplayer secures that lock, and throws that key under the ocean inside of a small chest with a 4 digit code with a Poseidon and his Sea Bear guarding it. The lock is also made out of the Dragonbone, with the curse of the Daedra making it unbreakable. There too much to talk about GTA online. It provides a dynamic multiplayer gameplay and setting to ensure that the player can have a fun time playing GTA V Online. The game devs are also cracking down on a lot of hackers, which is great because now they can’t ruin my game! Online offers players limitless freedom, and the opportunity to play with, or against your friends, or the other daily 20,000 players online. For those who are curious, GTA V is at 12th place for the Top Games and Player Count on Steam, beat by the obvious Dota 2, TF2, and CSGO, and some others. And of course, “Heists” which I will explain into much more detail soon enough. GTA Heists As previously mentioned, GTAV is the first to release “Heists”. I’ve played 324 hours in Payday 2 and still counting(just not as much as I used to), and 46 hours in Payday:The Heist, so I know a little something something about heisting with friends. And if it’s one thing I learned from that, is that it’s super entertaining, fun, and hilarious. Each heist in GTA is unique to its own place. For example: The Prison Break: In this mission, the contractor(Agent 14) calls the 4 of you in to break out this special prisoner(Maxim Rashkovsky). Each player will assume their own separate role, as they work together to complete their mission. The roles are: The Demolition, The Officer, The Prisoner, and The Pilot. The Demolition’s role is to kill the original bus driver, and blow it up by any means, then steal an attack helicopter to give the Officer and Prisoner aerial support. After that, he must work with the Officer and Prisoner to kill all remaining guards, and escort the prisoner to safety. The Officer’s, along with the Prisoner’s, role is to enter the prison without arousing suspicion, hence the need for both an officer and prisoner. Then they shall locate the target, kill the guards defending him, and escort him out of the jail. The Demolition will give them air support too. Once settled, they will break out of there with the Demolitions. The Pilot has to steal an aircraft(Velum) within the time, and fly to the shores where the rest of the crew will be escaping, while being pursuit by military fighter jets. Fly the Officer, Prisoner, and the target across the map, where you will meet again with the Demolitions, and finally fly away in his Buzzard. Living happily ever after. So as you can see that was just 1 heist, and a lot to talk about. That’s just how in-depth the GTA heists are. With over 300 hours in Payday 2, I have some grounds to say, that these heists, are way more immersive and interesting than Payday 2 heists. What makes it even more scary, is that if one crew member fucks up in the Heists, the whole contract is terminated. I actually kind of like this feature, gives me something to yell at my friends about. Speaking of friends, I move on my next sub-topic: Friends! I have 8 friends who own GTA V on Steam, and it would be a pleasure to join them in the fun. One of my friends had a 2 week-long vacation from work recently, and he almost has 100 hours in the game… and he got it like the first day of his vacation to give him something to do. The other friends are just overall active in playing, and I would genuinely love to play with them. Because of them, I also learned a lot about the game. They insist on letting me watch their Steam stream when I ask them too, mainly because they want to show off their cars, and have me critique on which is better. So, why would you like to play this game? Oh, boy. This sub-topic is going to be long. If it’s not already obvious, I genuinely want to play and enjoy GTA V completely. So let's start off with it’s: Gameplay:
Open-World: Wanna know what really makes games repeatable and never-ending? Free-roaming. Having a whole world to yourself really makes a game have that sense of freedom, rather than being restricted to following a set up quests/missions that you HAVE to do. With GTA V, it’s more like “Do whatever the fuck you want, but if you wanna get some money, then you can do some missions”. I love it. Do you know why TES,Fallout 4, Witcher 3, all of the Assassin’s Creed and Farcry Titles are still popular and sold? Open-world. Boom. Case closed. Seriously though, I would love to explore Los Santos and explore each city corner! :)
Cars: What else can I say? There are a whole bunch of vehicles in GTA V(I wanna say maybe there are 50). Each vehicle is highly customizable to your own likings. You can change the rims, spoiler, paint job, and even your engine sound! This game is not only a shooting game, but also a racing game! This combined with first person view, makes it look like you are actually racing, because you can see the interior of your car and the gauges and stuff. Cars have always been a great thing in video games, and I can almost assure you that if there are non-glitchy, functioning cars in a game, those cars will make a game twice as better. Following up with the open world aspect of the game, I want to drive my car around at night, to admire the beauty of Los Santos, this masterpiece of a game. :)
Heists:Pretty much making the Payday series open-world and more immersive. I want to play Heists with my friends because I've always dreamt of pulling off a complex heist together in GTA V, especially the Prison Heist, which is why I chose it as an example. I can already imagine the beautiful gameplay of getting chased on 6 stars by a swarm of cops, while flying away on a helicopter with my friends. I can already hear our arguments on who gets the biggest cut of the money while in the planning board. Much like Payday, we can also choose between to go in loud, or to go stealth in the heists, which gives it a good variety to choose from and offers plenty to do! :)
Game Modes:GTA V isn't just limited to its wonderful free roaming gameplay. There are also many other game modes to play, likeSlasher, and Hasta La Vista. Hasta La Vista is where there are 2 team, the cyclists and the truckers. The cyclists’ goal is to reach the checkpoint before the truckers run over them with their trucks. It's a pretty simple, yet fun game mode. I would love to play this game mode because it's very simple, but I can easily tell that with friends, will be very fun. I think you should check at least a small amount of gameplay, to kinda get what I'm talking about.Slasher is yet another gamemode, where there are the hunted and the slashers. The hunted have to hide from the slashers, while the slashers have to try and knock them out. It's kind of weird though, because the hunted actually get flashlights and guns, while all the slasher has is a melee weapon and night vision. I feel the slasher is the prey here, because they are at a disadvantage. I would love to play this gamemode because it's like classic Ghost Mode. You know what I'm talking about, like in Crossfire where the ghosts get knives and invisibility while the other guys get guns and have to not get killed. Or maybe if you are a Nintendo fan, it reminds you of the ghost game on the Wii U, where the ghost has to abduct each character, while they have to shine their flashlights at the ghost. It looks like a fun gamemode to play that will keep my on the edge of my seat, anxious where the slasher is! These are just 2 of my favorite game modes, just imagine how many more are there? At LEAST more than 40.
Minigames:Sometimes you just wanna relax. After all the violence and shooting and killing. There's a time in a man’s life where he's just gotta take a break. And why better way to do that then to play Tennis? There are so many things to do in GTA V, that they even went to adding small Minigames in it. Including, but not limited to BASE jumping, tennis, golf, darts, and even scuba diving! I want to be able to parachute in the game, admiring the beauty of Los Santos from the clouds. To me, it's not JUST that each Minigame is fun and easily accessible, but it's because of the thought that Rockstar had to implement these minor details, that make the game so big and having so much to do! I'm certain that I'll be able to put many many hours into the game! :)
Mods! You know why Skyrim still remains as one of the most popular games still? That's right, nodding. As a predominantly PC gamer, modding is one of the best things anybody has ever thought of. Let's see, they make your games how you want it to be, you can be pretty much whatever you want, and most importantly, endless hours of playing! In GTA 4, I remember modding it up so I can become the Hulk and throw random shit around. In GTA V, I want to become the flash, and zoom past everything! Skyrim also has that whole SkyRe mod, where it pretty much just makes Skyrim a whole different game, I wonder if there is a GTA V mod for that? Skyrim also has the High Resolution pack, and I'm sure that GTA V has one too, so accompanied with First Person mode, it really makes you feel like you are in the game! Updates!
The game is being constantly updated by Rockstar, even for a 5 year old game. Each update, there are new cars, weapons, clothing, and even new events added into the game! In Christmas, everyone gets to have a snowball fight and their are Santa hats! In Halloween, there are spooky pumpkins and other scary bats and vampires and stuff. In Easter, there are numerous hidden Easter Eggs across Los Santos!
GTA V is a big game itself, but with constant free updates and patches, it is becoming even better! Free updates, heh, looking at you Payday 2. Also, as mentioned earlier, they are really cracking down on the hackers, which is great because I can play without any cheaters!
Executives and Other Criminals:They actually just recently added a major update just a few weeks ago. It’s called “Executives and Other Criminals”. In the update, they’ve added so many cool free expansions. One of them is the “Turreted Limo” which is pretty self-explanatory, it’s a frickin’ limo that has a huge Machine Gun mounted on top. You drive while I shoot, okay? What’s not badass about that? They also added a motherfucking Super Yacht. It functions just like a regular house, but on water! Each Yacht comes with it’s own bartender, captain, and hell, you can even land your chopper on it! Not to mention, it also has anti-air defense, to rid of those pesky griefers and asshats.

Oh you thought I was done? NO! They also added a sweet new Organization function, that works kind of like a Clan in COD or a Guild in WoW. If you have more than 1m in your bank account, you can start an organization, and can hire 3 of your best buds to be your personal bodyguards. 6 new gamemodes have also been added in, that can be directly accessed through Freemode. For example Piracy Prevention an attack and defense type of mode, where the defense spawns on the Yacht, while offense spawns on the shore, having access to motorboats, choppers, and submarines to capture the poop deck. New clothing has also been added, like the robe, and Swimsuits. 2 new weapons have been added as well, the Revolver and the Switchblade. I’m actually really excited about the revolver, because I watched a few gameplay vids with it and it looks OP.
Now, sorry for interrupting you. Other GTA Games I’ve played I've played GTA SA and 4, and have completed both of them. Both games were amazing and fun, and had their own unique story each. In San Andreas, I played as CJ. After getting released from prison, CJ meets up with his friends from the neighborhood and goes right back into the crime world. You unveil the many hardships CJ had, and even the pain of betrayal from his own friends… One notable mission was the infamous “Train Mission”. Some enemy gang members are on top of a moving train, and you have to pursuit them with a motorcycle while the guy with the shittiest aim is trying to kill them is trying to shoot them with the weakest gun. Sigh. Took me a while to beat that one. In 4, you play as Niko Bellic, a European who is trying to live the American Dream in Liberty City with his cousin Roman. Roman tries to get some money by starting a can business, but he always gets taken advantage of and abused. They meet other criminals, and follow the road to success in the criminal underworld. Including my favorite mission, the Bank Heist, where Niko and 3 others raid a bank and have to escape through the Subway. The first time I did this mission, I was almost done, but then I got ran over by a Subway. Took me like 20 mins to fight those cops too. Overall, both games were amazing and had their own funny characters with a big personality. I personally enjoyed 4 more, mainly because of the wider variety of cars and in my opinion, better missions. I do miss the characters in those games though, like Little Jacob the Rhasta. He used to give out guns by the call. Big Smoke was a funny guy, I enjoyed his “I'll have 2 number 9s…” monologue. Why can’t I buy this for myself? As for most people, money is the issue. I mainly use my money on books, and for educational purposes, mainly for school, work, and volunteering events. I also bought my 6 and 10 year old cousins a Wii U for Christmas, along with Super Mario Maker, and Splatoon(that paintball game). I’ve known them since they were born, we pretty much grew up together. They even let me play Smash with them on the Wii U and their 3DS, so that was very thoughtful of them! I also have to worry about my nephew who is about 2 now, and to be honest, $60 can get a kid a lot at that age. My brother actually just got him this huge Minecraft Lego set thing for like 50$. Anyways, yeah, I’m usually spending my money on my education and for my more needy brother’s kids. :) How often are you going to play GTA V? A lot. With literally hundreds of things to do, there is no way that I can ever get bored with GTA V. I’ll feed hundreds of hours into this game, easily. If playing on Dust II and I am in palace ( upper tunnels ) I can hear a player running on catwalk. Or if I am on catwalk, I can hear the small little beeping of someone planting a bomb on B site. I can hear the smallest things sometimes. It happens in other games, and it happens in CS:GO. In game, A lot of people when playing with me ask " Why you looking at the ground. " " Why don't you have your shotgun at head level ". My answer is always, I am listening. For some odd reason, I hear the enemy through walls better, if my Characters ear, is facing the wall in question. So if they are in upper tunnels, and I am outside on B site, I hear better if I am parallel to the wall, then looking at the opening. I have been told, it doesnt work in this game. This game doesn't have ( directional sound systems? ) good sound systems. It is very simple and plain. I mean, its a fair argument, but no one has flat out told me why or given me evidence. I know there are games where if an enemy shoots, and you turn around, the sound changes between headphone speakers. In some games, it doesn't. If it is shot on your left side, and you turn, it stays on the left because it registered there. My question is... are my listening methods... plausible? In real life, if you are on one side of a wall, and you put your ear to it, you can hear things on the other side better. I know CS:GO isn't real life, but It seems to be my only reasoning to this. I've mostly tradied knives priced over 100 kys since I (started to) trade to enjoy and swap skins and not that much for profit.
I never used what I'll call "quickbuy method" to make profit or really not often. Only made profit by swapping items with downgrade & some overpay.
HOW DO I SET UP MY TRADES
What to include in your trades to get them more attraying, relevant and complete :
Knives Screenshotsare made of at least 6 pictures. 2 of them are the *inspect from inventory to show playside and corner for kara, spine for bayonet** ... 2 of them are the playside & backside of the knife on a regular map or at least with regular bright shaders. Finally, 2 of them are taken from the Skin Screenshot Map v2 while using noclip go into the sky and the screen will turn black, allowing you to take screenshots with dark shaders and no frills decor so you can clearly see the defects or the perfection of the knife.*
Weapons Screenshotsare made of at least 5 pictures. 1 of them is the *inspect from the inventory (2 for AWP as showed on example). 2 of them are the playside & backside of the knife on a regular map or at least with regular bright shaders. How to avoid most of the scams: *only trade through steam interface and only trade for Cs:go items if your knowledge is limited to these items. I'll talk about real money later. Always double check what you're accepting and what you're clicking on.
Ways to get profit :
Downgrade way : *What is downgrading? Let's say you have an item wich is 100$ worth. you're not gonna trade it for 2x 50$ items, but for something like 2x 55$ items and then make 10$ profit, sell these 2 items at 53$ each, buy back the same item you had first. you now have your 100$ item and 6$. that's basicly how downgrading method will work.
Pattern way :to avoid if you don't have any pattern's knowledge, it'll come with the time. It's basicly just buying patterned items (slaughters, Case hardenned, stickered items) for a regular price and then try to sell the item few keys over what you bought it for, waiting for someone who'll like your pattern and who'll overpay because of it.
Quicksell way : Let's take an item wich is 100$ worth. Set up trades saying you'll buy quick for only 80$, now just be a little bit patient and sell the item for ~86$. 6$ earned. it's basicly just converting time into money. why do people quicksell? because they're not patient. be patient.
PATIENCE IS THE KEY
As I already said, be patient is the best advice I can give you. Time is money. Trading is mostly common sense and what might fuck you up is that you'll be tired of an item and you'll end up quickselling it and losing money, don't.
You might be trading because you want better skins. so you might be thinking like this: fixing yourself goals -> need to trade -> to make money. this is wrong and you should think in this order: trade -> to get money -> to reach your goals. Not a big difference but you need to be quite primitive and focus on money if you don't want to lose some. patience saved me 130$ on my last trade.
The only reasons for an item to get an overpay is because of his float or because of his pattern (or because collector, make PC for this). Before rushing the new post button, take 2 minutes to use search bar unless if your item is really specific, but if it's only about float, use search bar, 9/10 times you'll find what you need.
as mentionned on my tools list, steam analyst (even if this is controversial depending on people, always been useful and correct for market priced items) and also steam market are good enough and trustable. (I often take 85% of analyst to price items that i'm being offered, and always sell them according to analyst price too).
You can't find your dream? Finally use lounge to check people's B/O, they might be (well, 75% of the time) overpriced but still good to give you an idea about the price range.
BUT EVERYONE WILL DO THE SAME AFTER READING THIS GUIDE..
Nah, even less at 'low' price range, let me explain:
Most bets (i think) are under 50€. So lot of people are betting to profit but to get playskins, then they'll come to you with their betting skins and they'll overpay because they don't care as much as a trader do with his money. A bettor will get money just by following stats most of the time, and so it's like easy money, so some won't care at all about spending quite too much, because they just want to upgrade their betting items into nice playskins. btw they'll bet again and win more easy money so they don't care. that's quite how you'll get their profit.
Also, think that some people having skins aren't necessary traders, they might just have money to spent, and they're most of the time not really patient and will easily give you nice deals.
About gamblingif you want to gamble, only bet what you can afford to lose, not your whole inventory on a pot against DeliciousMilk putting 15 dragon lores, ok?
WHAT SHOULD YOU BUY?
Sorry, I won't tell you what to buy EXACTLY since it'll be longer than the Bible itself, but will just give you some tips.
So, what should you buy? It depends on your budget, and I'm not really experienced with stuff wich is lower than 100 K. Vanilla knives are nice to trade because they're stable, cool + you don't have to care about float, look, pattern. Playskins such as Vulcans, Asiimov, all these kind of skins that are popular are nice to deal with.
Focus on popular stuff.
How to know what is popular? Check reddit pretty often and try to see what you often see being sold or bought, what items are often on hot page.
